Abstract
The objective of this investigation was to the describe quantity and variety of clinical procedures in pediatric dentistry performed by three generations of students between 2008 and 2011 at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Costa Rica. Grade registers for 146 students were analyzed and 1646 patients were identified, with student performing an average of 131.75 procedures. All students performed at least two procedures: clinical examination, pit and fissure sealants, resins, amalgams, preformed stainlees steel crowns and extractions. The procedures with a higher average were pit and fissure sealants (x :35.32) and resins ( : 16,28). Respect to pulpotomy and aparatology only one student did not complete one of them.
