Abstract
Crocodilian populations were studied in La Rambla de Sarapiquí, Golfo de Nicoya and the mangrove associated to (he rivers Térraba and Sierpe, Costa Rica. In comparison with other countries there is a normal population density in the tbree places. Caiman crocodilus fuscus was found in both rivers. Crocodylus acutus occurs in the tbree zones. Caiman population densities are higher in Sierpe than in La Rambla. Crocodile's density was similar in the three study sites.Comments
