Abstract
The autor deals with the finding of developmental forms of Trypanosoma rangeli Tejera in the salivary glands of Rhodnius prolixus of El Salvador, Central America. Same considerations are made concerning the morphology of metacyclic trypan03cmes and of the large Crithidia, which resemble Roubaud's "cercoplasm" in that they attain lenghts of over 100 μ in some instances, and in the great development of their posterior ends. Some remarks are made on the interesting cycle of this trypanosome in insects.Comments
