En cuanto a la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras, se identicó8 que en
el contexto de la pandemia, hubo una combinación de métodos tradicio-
nales de enseñanza y la enseñanza en línea con plataformas como Moodle,
en la cual se emplean diversas herramientas como Wiki, sondeo, glosario,
juegos, foros, pruebas cortas, chat, entre otras. En su revisión de investiga-
ciones sobre la adaptación del profesorado en la pandemia, otro artículo9
da cuenta de que el cuerpo docente, para continuar con la enseñanza de
lengua, tuvo que recurrir a sesiones en línea asincrónicas y sincrónicas.
En las asincrónicas, el estudiantado debía realizar las actividades progra-
madas a su ritmo y a su tiempo, hubo mayor exibilidad del proceso de
aprendizaje, el material estaba disponible en una plataforma como Google
Classroom, Blackboard o Madrasati, en la cual el profesorado compartía
videos, foros, asignaciones, evaluaciones, etc. En las sesiones sincrónicas,
se solía emplear videoconferencias a través de Zoom, Microsoft Teams o
Blackboard Collaborate para la interacción entre el profesorado y el es-
tudiantado en tiempo real. Se usaban las herramientas de Whatsapp
y WeChat como medios de comunicación. Otra investigación10 señaló
que, por ejemplo, la plataforma de Google Classroom permitía al profeso-
rado compartir materiales de enseñanza, asignar tareas o colocar las cali-
caciones de los trabajos. Además, se utilizaron otras plataformas como
Schoology, Smart School y Ruang guru y aplicaciones como Skype, Quizizz,
Telegram, Canva, entre otras.
