Abstract
This is the first report of the bivalve Trigoniidae [Pterotrigonia (Pterotrigonia) sp.], from anUpper Cretaceous locality of Costa Rica. This fossil association was buried in situ with other mollusks:Pholadomya jamaicensis and gastropods. They are included in a calcareous sandstone, deposited in a sublittoral-littoral (10-15 m deep) environment. The presence of this fossils is an evidence of the influence of the Thetyssea in this area during the Mesozoic (Upper Cretaceous).##plugins.facebook.comentarios##
