Abstract

Female Freemasonry in Mexico was ephemeral during the nineteenth century. It was established with the support of men Freemasons committed to the education of women and their emancipation from the Catholic dogma. At the end Mexican Freemasonry chose to keep Women out of the lodges rather than losing e recognition of regular Freemasonry.
