Operacionalización de teledebriefing en educación para la salud: revisión del alcance

Resumen

Introducción: La telesimulación se caracteriza por ser una tecnología educativa innovadora capaz de llegar a lugares remotos y de difícil acceso, sin embargo, a pesar de su importancia, una de sus etapas, el teledebriefing, aún requiere de una profundización científica.

Objetivo: Mapear la producción científica sobre la operacionalización del teledebriefing, dirigida a estudiantes, docentes y profesionales de la salud.

Materiales y método: Este estudio consiste en una revisión de alcance, la cual se basa en las recomendaciones del Instituto Joanna Briggs y de la declaración PRISMA, específicamente de la Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews: Checklist and Explanation. La búsqueda fue realizada en abril de 2025 en 13 bases de datos.

Resultados: Se identificaron 29 estudios que constituyeron la muestra final. Se identificaron dos categorías: práctica y elementos para la implementación del teledebriefing y el aprendizaje en salud y beneficios versus desafíos del teledebriefing.

Conclusión: En resumen, la operacionalización del teledebriefing se debió principalmente a la necesidad de recursos de teletransmisión, la presencia de una persona facilitadora/capacitada en teledebriefing, la determinación de un método y la duración del teledebriefing. El principal beneficio inherente del teledebriefing es la mejora de la confianza en sí de quien está aprendiendo, la motivación, la toma de decisiones y el pensamiento crítico. Sin embargo, como desafío, el teledebriefing presenta la dificultad de observar las reacciones de quienes participan de forma remota durante la discusión.
