Vol. 3 No. 1 (2026): Special Issue: Behavior, Society, and Epidemics: Evidence, Theory, and Public Policy

Special issue “Behavior, Society, and Epidemics: Evidence, Theory, and Public Policy” in EPI-SCIENCE, featuring human social networks, epidemic modeling graphics, global connectivity, and public health themes.

This special issue explores the complex interactions between human behavior, social dynamics, and epidemic processes. We invite contributions that integrate empirical evidence, mathematical and computational modeling, public health policy analysis, behavioral science, social networks, mobility, misinformation, adaptive decision-making, and intervention strategies. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, behavioral responses to epidemics, social determinants of disease transmission, vaccine acceptance and hesitancy, digital media influence, risk perception, surveillance systems, complex adaptive systems, and policy evaluation. Interdisciplinary submissions bridging epidemiology, mathematics, sociology, economics, political science, data science, and public health are especially encouraged.
