Libertarismo y justicia social: La libertad como valor político

El presente artículo examina las tensiones propias de los valores ético-políticos de libertad e igualdad al ofrecer una crítica interna (o inmanente) al libertarismo, cuya línea teórica básica consiste en supeditar el primer valor respecto del segundo. El artículo defiende la tesis de que los deberes positivos son moralmente consistentes con las demanda de libertad. Se trata de un argumento que intenta mostrar la compatibilidad y consistencia entre derechos positivos y negativos, lo cual quiere decir también que los derechos positivos constituyen una condición necesaria para la libertad como valor político.
