Abstract
Se viven tiempos en que la seguridad es un elemento esencial de las políticas públicas y constituye un requerimiento elemental para la vida de convivencia. Sin embargo, es quizá el concepto de "sociedad de riesgos", acuñado por el sociólogo Ulrich Beck, el que mejor define la actual tendencia de las políticas estatales tanto en el Viejo como en el Nuevo Continente.Downloads
