Abstract
The aim of this paper is to illustrate the need for the incorporation of technology and process modeling in the course of Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE), of the major in Mathematics Education in the Universidad Nacional in Costa Rica, in order to motivate students to achieve: to make a discreet handling of information, access the stochastic reasoning for the search of solutions, and use discrete mathematics, modeling and optimization processes for the interpretation of problems, among others. In particular, we show the main results of the systematized experience in this course during the second half of 2008 at the Universidad Nacional.
