Resumen
Esta tesis presenta un análisis sintáctico y fonológico del habla criolla (LC) que se habla en la provincia de Limón, República de Costa Rica. El análisis sigue la teoría lingüística conocida como gramática de transformaciones. Por medio de esta teoría intentamos demostrar que LC es un idioma estructurado, regido por reglas gramaticales y no una colección casual de errores de un inglés modelo.
