Resumen
Este artículo presenta una visión general del uso del formalismo en la lingüística. Suponiendo autonomía sintáctica, dos modelos formales para dar cuenta del "se" en el españole son explorados. Una vez que se muestran las deficiencias de las gestiones que el autor examina, un modelo formal que asume entradas semánticas y que utiliza resultados obtenidos previamente a través de un análisis funcionalista.
This article presents an overview of the use of formalism in linguistics. Assuming syntactic autonomy, two formal models to account for Spanish "se" are explored. Once the deficiencies of the approaches are shown the author examines a formal model that assumes semantic inputs and that uses results previously obtained through a functionalist analysis.
