The Universidad de Costa Rica UCR strengthens its presence in international scientific dissemination by positioning 14 journals in the latest Journal Citation Report (JCR) from Clarivate. This recognition, which validates academic excellence, is reflected in citation metrics that highlight the preference of the scientific community for these publications.

Cuadernos de Antropología, with a Journal Impact Factor (JIF) of 0.1, ranks in Q4 and is indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) of the Web of Science. This achievement underscores the University of Costa Rica's disciplinary diversity and the global impact of its intellectual output.
