Producción científica y análisis temático sobre gamificación en la formación inicial docente (2015-2023)

Resumen

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la producción científica sobre la gamificación en la formación inicial docente (FID) durante el período 2015-2023 con el fin de contribuir a la comprensión del estado actual de la investigación sobre gamificación en la FID, identificar tendencias y vacíos en la investigación en esta área. El método consiste en una recopilación y análisis temático de un total de 83 artículos científicos de los 479 publicados en revistas indexadas en Scopus y Web of Science. La selección se realiza según el modelo PRISMA. Como resultados, desde el análisis bibliométrico se obtienen  datos sobre las características de las publicaciones sobre el tema tratado y en el análisis temático, se observan cuatro categorías relevantes de estudio. Se concluye que, es escasa la producción científica a nivel mundial sobre la gamificación en la FID y se sugiere continuar investigando sobre la gamificación como una herramienta transformadora en la formación de futuros profesores y en la educación en general, debido a su potencial para mejorar significativamente la calidad y la efectividad de la educación escolar.
