Ante la presencia hoy en día de una cierta crisis en la educación de la historia de la arquitectura, el intelectual británico Mark Cousins expone en el siguiente texto una revisión de las categorías mismas de "arquitectura" e "historia" para posibilitar y reinventar acercamientos productivos a los pasados de la arquitectura. RevistArquis tiene el honor de publicar una traducción al español de la ponencia inédita que el autor presentó sobre el tema en el marco del simposio La arquitectura y sus pasados, llevado a cabo en la Architectural Association School of Architecture, Londres, el 22 de Mayo de 2010.

Abstract

In view of a certain contemporary crisis in the teaching of the history of architecture, British intellectual Mark Cousins revises the very categories of "architecture" and "history" with an eye to reinventing productive approaches to architectural pasts. RevistArquis is honoured to be publishing here a Spanish translation of the unpublished lecture that the author delivered at the Symposium Architecture & Its Pasts held at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, London, on 22 May, 2010.
