Abstract
The proposal for the restoration of the Antigua Capitanía de Puerto, in the city of Limon, Costa Rica, declared as a historic building, focuses first on the reconstruction of structures and damaged elements in order to reverse its deterioration and avoid its total loss in the near future. The project also includes the rescuing of the intangible value of the building while generating citizen participation initiatives to reintegrate it to the cultural context of the site.Comments
