Abstract
The house located in the outskirts of the mountains of Rio de Janeiro represents a great example of how dwellings can adapt to climate and landscape in its own environment. The choice of materials from the region and the use of large windows produce a nice shadow. The house’s inside is characterized by its wide and bright spaces and its contact with the natural environment. In addition, it makes the most of its terrace, garden and pool.
