REVISTARQUIS ensures the regulatory compliance with national and international ethical norms during its publication process. The journal strictly adheres to the norms of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Additionally, REVISTARQUIS:
Preserves the anonymity of the authors during the assessment process.
Determines the publication of the articles within the Editorial Board by majority voting.
Supervises the processes of publication by following the highest ethical standards, ensuring the assessment by scientific peers on the field.
Encourages reviewers to inform of possible plagiarism. Reviewers also will evaluate the articles rigorously, objectively and within the previously established time. They will substantiate their observations and, whenever relevant, offer their observations to improve the quality of the manuscript.
Requires that authors assume the responsibility for their articles, which should be transparent, rigorous, unpublished, and ethical. They will also be required to describe the process of investigation in such a way that the scientific community can corroborate or replicate the data. Authors should disclose their sources of funding and relevant conflicts of interest, if any, and declare the nature of said conflict.
Revistarquis uses tools such as Turnitin to identify textual matches in resources available on the internet. Plagiarism is defined as the exact copying of text fragments without a clear reference to the original source. Likewise, when paraphrasing is used, the corresponding source must be cited, as stipulated in the journal's Author Publication Guidelines.
If an ethical breach is detected during the review process or after publication, the journal will take the necessary actions to sanction the violation of the declared ethical principles. For this reason, authors must be willing to issue retractions or corrections if errors are identified.
