Update on the months of coverage of the issues of Pensamiento Actual

Pensamiento Actual journal informs that, starting in 2025, an adjustment will be implemented in the publication period of its issues. Each volume will continue to include two issues per year; however, the time distribution of these issues has been updated.

 

On our historical website, it was stated that:

 

“The first issue of the year covers the period from June 1 to November 30, and the second issue from December 1 to May 31 of the following year.”

 

Starting this year (2025), on the new website of Pensamiento Actual (section About the Journal), the updated organization will be presented as follows:

 

“Each volume comprises two issues: the first issue covers the period from December 1 to May 31 of the following year and will be published in June, while the second issue covers the period from June 1 to November 30 of the same year and will be published in December.”

 

This adjustment does not entail any change in the editorial continuity of the journal, nor in the numbering of the volumes or issues already published. The modification refers solely to a reorganization of the months covered by each issue, with the purpose of optimizing editorial planning and strengthening the regularity of the publication process.
