Abstract
The basic criminal definition of childgrooming according to the provisions the article 167 bis of Costa Rica's penal code, a piece of legislation targeting specifically adults, poses a problem as it enables the criminal prosecution of sexting and sexual approach between teenagers on equal conditions.
