Abstract
This paper shows some results of tests that were made over granulated materials, among glass lens holder. The gage for the materials was 1mm and the electromagnetic energy was at a 3.1 cm of wavelength with a power less than 47 mW. Each test produces enough data to know some characteristics like transmittance; absorbence; SWR and reflexion coefficient of the material. According to the results, it is possible to analyze materials by the use of electromagnetic energy at a fix wavelength and power. This fact opens a possibility for the characterization of materials using nondestructive technique. Emphasis is made, that a specific wavelength was used for tests and any test make under different wavelength, will not give the same results.
