Abstract

Un recuento de los diferentes enfoques teóricos de la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras se hizo por primera vez con el fin de indicar el lugar del componente oral en los distintos modelos. Tres posibilidades específicas para la enseñanza del componente oral, se discuten en la segunda parte para esbozar un posible modelo que confirmará un nuevo conjunto metodológico para guiar este proceso.

An account of the different theoretical approaches to foreign language teaching is first made in order to indicate the place of the oral component in the different models. Three specific possibilities to the teaching of the oral component are discussed in the second part to sketch a possible model that will confirm a new methodological set to guide this process.
