Abstract

This report gives information about the main mining districts in Nicaragua, both metalica and nonmetalics, with emphasis in gold-silver deposits. lt presents tables and maps of industrial reserves, geographycal location, geological framework and production database of the Nicaraguan minig sector. In addition, it presents data about organization, economic and legal aspects related to the mining sector. This report gives a general infomation about the actual situation of the Nicaragua mining sector.
