Abstract

Beyond the historical and architectural heritage site under Act 7555, in Costa Rica that category also extends to other manifestations constructive whose historical and cultural uniqueness makes them valuable to us as a particular human group. This article is intended to provide a brief overview of these buildings carry generating social memory and collective identity, as a contribution to its preservation.
