Abstract
This article presents/displays the different ceramic complexes from Costa Rica that are located in the Formative Period (2000-300 a. C.). Within the characterization of each archaeological site and its ceramics sets out later a theoretical frame supported in the model of the communication socio-semiotic. It proposes the semiosphere concept as the semiotic space outside as it is impossible the existence of the same semiosis (Lotman, 1996a). This space presents/displays next to the ceramic complexes like a way to analyze, understand and to include/understand the dynamics of these groups.Comments
