Sentencias de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos y de la Sala Constitucional de Costa Rica sobre identidad de género e igualdad y no discriminación a parejas del mismo sexo

Abstract

The Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR) responded to the Government of Costa Rica on November 24, 2017, by means of the document containing Advisory Opinion number OC-24/17, dated November 24, 2017 that the government of the Republic of Costa Rica had requested with regard to gender identity and equality and non-discrimination of same sex couples. In turn, on Wednesday November 14, 2018 the Constitutional Court notifies the Government of Costa Rica Ruling No. 12782 on this matter, with Wednesday August 8, 2018 as the issuance date.
