Abstract

This essay describes the difficulties that the institution has overcome to stay within foreign exchange regulations, mainly in uniform foreign exchange laws: The Hague 1910-1912, Geneva 1930, and New York 1988, which are also referred in the essay and which take a major role by the effort to standardize the binding regulations on worldwide basis.
