We are glad to announce that, after nearly seven decades of publication, the Revista de Biología Tropical is changing to a model of continuous publication. This means that authors and readers will no longer have to wait months until the publication of the next issue: articles will be published online as soon as they are accepted in a final version. Starting January, 2021, we will publish articles the same day they are ready and the printed version of the journal will be discontinued.
We are sure this improvement, together with our policies of fair review, personalized service and no-cost publication for both authors* and readers will greatly help tropical researchers to be more informed and knowledgeable of the most recent advances in the biology and conservation of tropical ecosystems. *articles over 10 pages of space in pdf can be published at cost by the time that our staff perform in quality control.
