IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT METADATA IN MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSIONS
Dear authors,
We use the Open Journal System to process manuscripts. This software provides authors with real time manuscript status reports and guarantees that articles are published with all the metadata required by Google Scholar, Science Citation Index, and other international indices.
We have noticed that, when they submit manuscripts, many authors do not fill the spaces indicating coauthors, institutions, emails and ORCID numbers. This causes serious problems in manuscript processing and visibility.
From now on, manuscripts with wrong or incomplete metadata will be returned and will lose the original reception date, so please make sure to fill out all the required information when you submit. Appropriate metadata will let other researchers find and cite your work.
If you have any questions, please contact alonso.prendas@ucr.ac.cr
