Abstract
Essential oils in leaves and spikes of Piper aduncum L. (Piperaceae) were examined in two Costa Rican Jocations by Gas Chromatography-Mass-Spectrometry (GC-M S) methods. Yields were 0.4-1.3% and oi! composition was slightly different in each location. The main constituents were the phenylpropanoid dilapiole (32.9-61.8%), the monoterpenoids piperitone (2.2-13.5%), 1,8-cineole (0.1-8.6%), and 4-terpineol (1.6-5.4%) and the sesquiterpene##plugins.facebook.comentarios##
