Abstract
The essential oi! of the leaves of Piper terrabanum e. De. (Piperaceae) was obtained by hydrodistillation witb a yield of 0.1 O % of fresh material. The oi! was analyzed by a combination of GC-MS metbods. In the analysis about 78 signals were detected and 42 components were identified accounting for 90.2 % of the oi!.
