Abstract

Larvae of the xanthid crab Ozius verreauxii were reared in the laboratory from hatching to megalopa. Complete larval development required about 15 days under culture conditions of 27 °C and 32 o/oo salinity. High survival was observed through the first two zoeal stages with an increase in mortality during zoeal stages III and IV.
