Abstract

Setaria geniculata (Lam.) Beauv. and S. magna Griseb. Are compared in their anatomy and found to be very similar and to correspond in their structure to other Panicoideae. Their chromosome numbers (S. geniculata 2N = 36, S. magna 2N = 72) and their general habit are different.
