Abstract
Axine ibañezi n. sp., a parasite of the branchial arches of Exocoetus volitans Linnaeus from Chorrillos, Department of Lima, Perú, is described. It differs from other species in the structure of the genital atrium, the greater number of clamps, and in the number and arrangement of spines on the cirrus.
