Abstract
The presence of otarids (Carnivora: Otariidae) at Isla del Coco, Costa Rica. This paper presents a historic revision of the presence of the otarids, Zalophus wollebaeki and Arctocephalus galapagoensis, at Isla del Coco (Cocos Island). Their presence in the Island is accidental and recurrent, maybe in relation with climatic episodes. Isla del Coco does not have the ecological conditions that are necessary for the development of a reproductive colony of these marine mammals. Rev. Biol. Trop. 56 (Suppl. 2): 151-158.
