Abstract
Recent observations have demonstrated that, in the studied areas of El Salvador, the most frequent species of the genus Phlebotomus is P. longipalpis. 86,8% of the Phlebotomus captured belong to that species. It has also been found that big rocks is the prefered "habitat" of P. longipalpis. Other data on general biology of Phlebotomus are given, with special reference to P. longipalpis.Comments
