Abstract

Numerous specimens of a species of Aspidogastridae Pache, 1907 were collected in the intestine and caeca of edible marine fish from the strand north of Tuxpan, Veracruz, México. CO'mparison with specimens studied by Linton and other American helminthologists leads to the determination of this material as Lobatostoma ringens (Linton, 1907) Eckmann, 1932.
