Algunas consideraciones sobre el aparato bucal del <i>Cyclidium glaucoma</i> O. F. Müller, 1786

Abstract

Silver impregnation shows the buccal cavity of Cyclidium glaucoma to consist of an undulating membrane on the right border and of three membranel­les (M-1 near the anterior end; M-2 and M-3 in the posterior end of the cavity). The genus Cyclidium should be excluded from the family Pleuronematidae and placed in or close to the family Tetrahymenidae.
