Sobre la presencia de un <i>Dactylosoma</i> en <i>Bufo marinus</i>

Abstract

A Dactylosoma is reported from a specimen of Bufo marinus caught in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. The various evolutive forms of the agamic cycle are des­cribed, as well as what the author regards as gametocytes. Pending clarification of the taxonomy of the genus, the parasite under discussion is classified as Dactylosoma ranarum.
