Abstract
The finding of Entamoeba moshkovskii Tshalaia, 1941 in the sewage digestion tanks of the City of Cartago, Costa Rica is mentioned. A description of the culture media and the fixation technique employed in the observation of stained preparations is given. A brief description of the strain of E. moshkovskii isolated 10 Costa Rica, together with some photomicrographs, is presented by the author. E. moshkovskii is considered as a good species by the author, not believing that this is a case of a free-living phase of sore parasitic entamoeba with tetranucleate cysts.Comments
