Ocyurus chrysurus in the inlet of Punta Arenas. SW shelf of Cuba, were analized. The main food was benthic crustaceans (shrimps and crabs) and postlarval fishes and juveniles. The juveniles of O. chrysurus L. synagris y griseus)were similar in their diets. They feed mainly on postlarval fishes and juveniles as well as small shrimps. Some changes of feeding spectra were observed during growth in the five species. On reaching the first year of life, the juveniles attain the feeding habits of lhe adults.Comments
