Abstract

This paper will make a comparative analysis between two parastatal agencies and paramilitary forces: the Salvadoran death squads (who served in El Salvador especially during the ‘80s) and the Triple A, or Argentine Anticommunist Alliance -whose actions are lies roughly between the years 1973 and 1975-.

Both       groups       are       described       in       their       particular        social,       historical       and       political contexts: Argentina’s third Peronista government and El Salvador devastated by civil war. 

Their particularities not prevent draw between the two of them, powerful ties that call attention to the consequences of the existence of these groups still visible in both countries.
