Important Notice to Our Academic Community

Dear authors,

InterSedes recently experienced a security incident that affected the server hosting our editorial platform. This cyberattack was addressed promptly by the University of Costa Rica’s Office of the Vice Rector for Research, which implemented corrective and preventive measures, including an upgrade to the latest version of our editorial management system (OJS) and strengthened digital infrastructure.

We are working systematically to restore our editorial workflow. All manuscripts submitted before the incident will be processed in the chronological order of receipt, without exception. If you would like to know the current status of your submission, you may contact us at: intersedes@ucr.ac.cr.

Please note that we are unable to provide estimated publication dates, as editorial progress depends on multiple factors. The processing order may change only in cases of editorial rejection or voluntary withdrawal of manuscripts by the authors.

Authors wishing to submit new manuscripts are kindly asked to register in the new platform and restart the submission process from the beginning.

We appreciate your patience and trust as we rebuild a more secure and reliable editorial environment.
