Abstract

This article intends to examine the relevance that it has, for Costa Rican education and for the Business Informatics career of the headquarters an campuses of the University of Costa Rica, that the professors of the career dedicate themselves to the investigation of their disciplinary fields in addition to of their work in the classroom. For the realization of this document, the main driving reference is taken from the "Plan for the strengthening of the investigative work of the faculty that collaborates in the Business Informatics career of
the headquarters and campuses of the University of Costa Rica 2021-2022" in response to the commitment of improvement of 2019 before SINAES. It is argued that the link that maintains the action of inquiring as a contributor to the improvement of Costa Rican education today is of an essential level, therefore, it is necessary to make the discoveries of the investigations available to the entire academic community. Thus, to achieve this, the imperative is proposed
to provoke in the teacher the desire to investigate and that this aspiration is materialized and sustained over time so that, as a result of the above, the educational crisis facing the country is diminished and, In addition, the same career is strengthened. This fact is expected to be the beginning of a complete educational transformation that will have an impact both on the student body and on society in general.
