HOW TO PUBLISH ITEMS IN THIS MAGAZINE:
Before sending an article to the Medical Journal of the UCR, please make sure that it complies with the standards indicated below, otherwise the works are not accepted for initial review.
Make sure that it meets the parameters indicated below, so we will save a lot of time, effort and inconvenience.

GUIDE FOR AUTHORS: GENERALITIES 1-Articles are accepted for publication in this journal as long as they are in the area of health, from basic medical sciences (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology), works of any medical specialty, to topics in the area of Pharmacy, Microbiology, Dentistry, Nursing that have to do with the clinical part. 2-Articles must be unpublished, that is, never before having been published in any other medium. 3-You should not submit the article for evaluation to two magazines simultaneously. 4-The author must sign the corresponding originality letter when submitting the work for evaluation, otherwise it cannot be taken into account. Download the letter here 5-Articles are accepted for publication, both in Spanish and English. Articles in another language are not accepted. 6-The author must submit his work through the website of the Medical Journal (rev.med.ucr@gmail.com) or failing to deliver his article in digital format to the Secretariat of the Department of Pharmacology (third floor of the Faculty of Medicine) of the School of Medicine of the University of Costa Rica, in San Pedro de Montes de Oca, San José, from 8 am to 12 pm from 1 pm at 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
