Regionalization of Costa Rica

In memory of Carlos we published the document "Regionalization of Costa Rica" based on studies coordinated by him. The document defines five regions and 22 sub-regions proposed by OFIPLAN in 1978. The five regions are very similar to the division into six regions that eventually prevailed. The difference is only that the "Central Pacific" region is included within the Central region.
