Escala de Dependencia Emocional (EDS-S): desarrollo y validación de una medida breve en adultos hispanohablantes de 18 a 50 años

Objetivo. Desarrollar y validar la Escala Breve de Dependencia Emocional (EDS-S) en adultos hispanohablantes de 18 a 50 años. Método. Participaron 1159 adultos peruanos de 18 a 50 años. Se analizó la estructura interna con el modelo de respuesta graduada de la teoría de respuesta al ítem, la relación con otras variables mediante un modelo estructural y la invarianza de medición según el sexo. Resultados. Un modelo bifactor con tres factores específicos (necesidad de afecto, baja autonomía, miedo al abandono) mostró ajuste adecuado (M2 = 30.186; gl = 18; p = .036; RMSEA = .024; CFI = .999). El omega jerárquico fue aceptable (ωH = .81). El modelo estructural arrojó χ²(141) = 1,087.27; CFI = .961; RMSEA = .076, y se observó invarianza escalar por sexo. La EDS-S es una medida breve, válida y confiable.
