Abstract
The author reports a case of a 23 years old fe- male who suffered an abrasive trauma of the dorsal aspect of the distal phalanx of her right index finger, with complete loss of the fingernail, nail bed and nail matrix. The reconstruction was performed with a non-vascularized composite nail graft taken from the second right toe. A very good esthetic result of the index finger was obtained, with minimal defect of the donor siteComments
