Abstract
We present a case report, our first experience of a peripherally inserted central venous catheter (PICC) for the control of symptoms in the Home Visit (DV) program of Palliative Medicine (PM) in the CCSS. Adequate control of symptoms and reduction of family stress were achieved without complications. There were no sources of subsidies, financial aid and we have no conflicts of interest.
